Horticulture trainers stage protest

Mysuru: Horticulture trainers, under the banner of Karnataka Horticulture Trainers Federation, staged a demonstration at Curzon Park in city on Sunday, demanding filling up of Horticulturist posts in Horticulture Department and Horticulture Teachers in the Education Department. Claiming that no recruitment of Horticulturists has been made since 1987, the protesters urged the Government to fill up 3,100 vacant posts of Horticulturists in Horticulture Department and 5,850 posts of Horticulture Teachers in the Education Department.

The Federation office-bearers Mooganahundi Yogesh, leaders Manjunath, Nagendra, Satish and others were present.
