Horticulture Varsity’s 12th Yuvajanotsava

College of Horticulture, Yalachahalli in Yelwal, is organising its 12th Inter-University Yuvajanotsava (Youth Festival) titled ‘Udyaana Yuvakalarava-2021’ in city from Nov. 17 to Nov. 19.  The events will be held at Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) Convocation Bhavan from 10 am onwards everyday.

Dr. K.M. Indiresh, Vice-Chancellor (VC), University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot, Prof. S. Vidyashankar, VC, KSOU, Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, noted writer and film director, will take part. The Yuvajanotsava will feature a total of 18 different competitions in five categories — Singing, Group Folk Dance, Theatre, Literature and Fine Arts. Best performers will be selected to the National-level Yuvajanotsava. About 200 students from Horticultural University are expected to take part in the participate in the event, according to a press release from the Dean of Horticultural University.
