Hostel admission

The Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited online applications from eligible boy and girl students belonging to backward communities, for admission to post-matric student hostels run by the Department.

Students belonging to communities coming under categories —1, 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b and SC/ST can apply. The annual income of parents belonging to category-1 and SC/ST communities must not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh, while that of parents belonging to categories- 2a, 2b, 3a and 3b, must not exceed Rs.1 lakh.

The eligible students can apply through https://shp.karnataka.gov.in/bcwd, before Oct. 30.
