Mysuru: The District Minority Welfare Department has invited applications for admission to working women hostels for the year 2022-23.
Working women belonging to minority communities including Muslims, Christians, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs and Parsis are eligible to apply. First preference will be given to single, unmarried, widow, divorcee women and those living away from their husband in different places.
Second preference will be given to minority women students (professional course students preferred) who will be given 30 percent admission to the hostel who may reside for up to five years. Candidates aged above 18 years may apply and the applicants must bear expenses for the food. Working women belonging to minority communities including Muslims, Christians, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs, Parsis and those who are taking professional course training will be given 25 percent admissions to the hostel for one year.
Applications must be submitted by logging on to https://dom.karnataka.gov.in/ and at the Office of District Officer, Moulana Azad Bhavan, opposite Dandimaramma Temple, Bengaluru-Mysuru Road in city.
Applications must be submitted along with copies of SSLC marks card, caste certificate, College admission slip, Aadhaar card, bank passbook, confirmation letter from their respective professional training centre heads and four passport size photos. [Mob: 82177-43399 or 74833-98572]
