Hotel creates awareness on traffic rules

September 10, 2019

Mysuru:   The steep hike in the traffic penalties has sent shock waves among the public. Those who had taken the rules lightly have now begun to panic and are seen running helter-skelter to ensure all documents are intact to avoid being penalised.

Many have taken to social media to create awareness among the public. Apoorva Darshini, a hotel located on JLB Road in city, has been creating awareness among its customers to wear helmets and also to follow the traffic rules by printing same in its bills (see pic).

Speaking to Star of Mysore, Hotel Owner Suresh Bharadwaj said if a person followed traffic rules there is no need to worry about hefty fine. “Many commuters do not wear helmets while riding two-wheelers and end up paying fine to the traffic cops. They are often seen cribbing about the fine while sipping a cup of tea or coffee. Wearing helmets not only avoids people from paying hefty fines but also saves lives,” he said.
