June 11, 2023

Mysore/Mysuru: Severely opposing the Government’s action of hiking power tariff by Rs.2.42 a unit and also the  fixed charges, Mysuru Hotel Owners Association has urged the Government to withdraw the hike.

In a press release, Association President C. Narayanagowda said that it is a matter of pride for Mysureans that Siddharamaiah who hails from the district has become the Chief Minister for the second time, for which the Hotel Owners Association wholeheartedly congratulates him. But the Government has announced a 40 percent steep hike in power tariff, which does not augur well for Hotels and other Industries. Hence the Association appeals the CM to order repeal of power tariff hike and drop FAC Charges (Fuel Adjustment Cost), the release said.
