Hotelier passes away

Mysore/Mysuru: Senior Hotelier of the city Hayavadana Achar (76) passed away here yesterday. A resident of Yadavagiri, he leaves behind his wife Vijayalakshmi, sons Sudhir Achar and Sujay Achar, daughter Sarita Shivashankar and a host of relatives and friends.

He was a recipient of the prestigious ‘Athithya Ratna’ award given by Karnataka Pradesh Hotel Owners Association.

Mysuru Hotel Owners Association President C. Narayanagowda and other Hoteliers have condoled Hayavadana Achar’s  death.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill here this noon, according to family sources.
