Hoteliers extend help to worker’s son

Mysuru: In a humanitarian gesture, Mysuru Hotel Owners Association has extended financial aid to the ailing son of a hotel worker.

Association President C. Narayanagowda presented a cheque for Rs.55,000 to hotel worker Kiran Kulal, whose son is being treated at a hospital for the serious head injuries he sustained after accidentally falling off from his bed a few days ago.

Speaking on the occasion, Narayanagowda said that the Association has decided to give Rs.1 lakh and Rs.55,000 collected from the Association members was given as the first instalment. The remaining amount will soon be given to Kulal to meet the medical expenses of his (Kulal) son, he said.

Association office-bearers Ravishastri, Subramanya Tantri, Narayan Hegde, Mahadevu and others were present.
