Gold ornaments worth about Rs. 1.8 lakh recovered
Mysuru: Mandi Police, who conducted an operation in front of a pawn broker shop on Ashoka Road on Dec. 12, have arrested a person and recovered a gold chain from him.
The arrested is 30-year-old Nanjunda, a resident of Rajaji Colony in Nanjangud.
During interrogation, the accused is said to have confessed of burgling one house on Mandi Police limits and two houses in Hassan Police limits. Based on the information provided by the accused, the Police have recovered 68 grams gold ornaments worth about Rs. 1,80,500 from him.

Bandiwaddar and Harish in the nabbing and recovery operation, according to a press release from the Public Relations Officer (PRO), City Police Commissioner’s Office, Mysuru.
