Rs. 12.50 lakh cash, 51.7 grams gold jewellery recovered
Mysore/Mysuru: K.R. Nagar Police have arrested three house burglars, who had burgled a house in K.R. Nagar town and have recovered a total of Rs. 12.50 lakh cash and 51.7 grams gold jewellery from them.
One Afsar Pasha, a resident of Muslim Block in K.R. Nagar town had lodged a complaint at K.R. Nagar Police Station stating that burglars, on May 7, 2024, had taken away 600 grams gold jewellery and Rs. 25 lakh cash kept in his house.
Based on the complaint, K.R. Nagar Police, who had registered a case, arrested Abdul alias Imran and Tasina and had recovered Rs. 9 lakh cash from them. The Police had launched a hunt to nab another accused Santosh alias Santhu, who had gone absconding.
On Apr. 9, 2026, the Police finally arrested Santosh and recovered 51.7 grams gold jewellery and Rs. 3,50,000 cash from him.
