Mysuru: House burglars, who broke into a locked house at Roopanagar on Sunday, have decamped with valuables from the house.

The burglary took place in the house of one Kiran, who had locked his house on Sunday morning and had gone out.

The theft came to light, when Kiran, who returned in the night,  saw the lock of the front door broken and on entering the house, he found gold ornament worth about Rs. 5 lakh kept in the almirah stolen. He immediately lodged a complaint with Jayapura Police, who have registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
