House burgled at Bannur

Bannur: Miscreants, who entered a house by breaking open the door lock in broad daylight, have decamped with 87 grams gold jewellery.

The burglary took place at the house of 62-year-old B. Madaiah at Dodda Mulagudu village in T. Narasipur taluk on Nov. 10.

Madaiah had gone to attend two ceremonies of his relatives and when he returned at about 1.45 pm, he found the lock of the front door broken. On inspecting the house, he found 87 grams gold ornaments kept in the almirah missing. A case has been registered at Bannur Police Station.
