House burgled at Choranahalli

Mysuru: Burglars, who gained entry into a house by breaking open the door lock, have decamped with cash and silver articles from the house. The burglary took place at the house of S.K. Veerendra, a resident of Choranahalli in the taluk.

On Mar. 13, Veerendra, along with his family, had gone to Bengaluru and returned on Mar. 31, only to find the lock of the front door broken. On inspecting the house, Veerendra found 1.50 kg silver articles and cash kept in the almirah stolen.

Alanahalli Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
