House burgled at Gayathripuram

Mysuru:  Burglars, who gained entry into a house at Gayathripuram 2nd Stage by breaking open the lock, have decamped with gold ornaments kept in the house. The house belonged to Zia ur Rehman.

Zia, on July 13, had locked his house and had been to Tamil Nadu with his family and the theft came to light when Zia came back yesterday and found the lock of the door broken.

On inspecting the house, Zia found 67 grams gold ornaments kept in the secret locker of the almirah missing and lodged a complaint at Udayagiri Police Station.

Udayagiri Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
