House burgled at Hootagalli: Burglars decamp with valuables

Mysuru: House burglars, who forcibly gained entry into a locked house by breaking open the front door, have decamped with silver articles, gold ornaments and a camera from the house.

The burglary took place at the house of one Rohit, a residing of KHB Colony in Hootagalli.

It is learnt that Rohit, along with his family members left for Bengaluru, on Apr.24.

On Apr. 26, when the housemaid came for work, she saw the front door broken and brought the incident to the notice of Rohit over the phone.

Rohit, who came to Mysuru in the evening, rushed to his house and on inspecting the house, he found 600 grams of silver articles, a gold finger ring and a camera missing from the house and lodged a complaint at Vijayanagar Police Station.

Vijayanagar Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
