May 17, 2025

Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into a house of a doctor at KSFC Layout near Manasinagar, have decamped with gold and cash worth Rs. 7 lakh from the house.

The burglary took place at the house of Dr. Siddaramu. On May 9, Dr. Siddaramu, along with his wife and daughter, left for Goa. The next day, the doctor’s sister-in-law fed food to the fish in the aquarium, locked the house and left. On May 11, when she again went to the house to feed the fish, she noticed the door of the terrace forcibly opened and the room ransacked. She immediately called Dr. Siddaramu and informed about it.

Dr. Siddaramu and his family returned on May 13 and inspected the house, when they found 128 grams gold ornaments and Rs. 20,000 cash, kept in the wardrobes, missing and lodged a Police complaint.

Alanahalli Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
