House burgled at Lokanayakanagar

Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars, who gained entry into a house by breaking open the back door of the house, have decamped with gold and silver ornaments and cash from the house.

The burglary took place at the house of 25-year-old S. Harsha, a Software Engineer and a resident of Lokanayakanagar in city.

On Mar. 1 at about 7.30 pm, Harsha locked his house and left for night shift work. When he returned at about 5.45 am on Mar. 2 and entered the house, he found the almirah forcibly opened and on inspecting it, he found 29 grams gold ornaments, 300 grams silver articles and Rs. 10,000 cash kept in it missing and on inspecting the house, he found the back door forcibly opened, following which he lodged a complaint.

Metagalli Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
