House burgled, gold and cash worth Rs. 2.15 lakh stolen

Mysuru: A house in Madhuvana Extension in Kuvempunagar here was reportedly burgled a couple of days ago which has come to light now.

Miscreants are believed to have gained entry by breaking open the rear door of the house and decamped with gold and cash worth Rs.2.15 lakh.

The resident of the house Narasimahamurthy, along with family members, is said to have gone to Arakalgud in Hassan leaving the house locked. On his return, he saw the rear door of the house broken and 85 gm of gold with Rs.20,000 in cash missing.

Kuvempunagar Police have registered the case.
