Mysuru: House burglars, who broke into a house in German Press Quarters premises at Siddarthanagar in broad daylight, have decamped with gold ornaments worth about Rs. 1.80 lakh kept in the almirah.

It is learnt that Premanand, who resides in the house, had locked the house on Tuesday morning and had gone to work.

When he returned at about  2 pm, he found the front door of the house broken and on inspecting the house, he found gold ornament weighing about 70 grams and worth about Rs. 1.80 lakh kept in the almirah stolen.

A complaint has been registered at Nazarbad Police Station in this regard.
