House burgled: Gold ornaments worth Rs. 2.40 lakh stolen

Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into a house at Krishnamurthypuram 5th Cross, have decamped with gold jewellery worth Rs. 2.40 lakh from the house.

The burglary took place at the house of Sudamshu Nagarahalli, a teacher at Jayatheertha Vidyapeetha in Bengaluru.

He had locked the house on Apr. 18 and had gone out and his friends informed him about the burglary following which he returned to city on Sept. 16 and found that the burglars had forcibly opened the house door.

On inspecting the house, he found the gold jewellery worth Rs. 2.40 lakh stolen and immediately lodged a complaint with Lakshmipuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard.
