House burgled in city

Mysuru/Mysore: Miscreants, who gained entry into a house by forcing the door open, have decamped with Rs. 6,000 cash and gold jewellery worth Rs. 2.5 lakh from the house on Dec. 31 night.

The burglary took place at the house of one M.M. Gangadhar at P.H. Colony, 6th Cross in Subhashnagar.

The burglars have decamped with 50 grams gold mangalya chain, 18 grams pearl earrings, 20 grams gold necklace, eight grams gold finger ring, seven gram gold finger ring and Rs, 6,000 cash, all totalling Rs. 2.5 lakh.

N.R. Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar besides registering a case.
