Mysuru:  House burglars, who broke into a locked house in Vijayanagar here, have decamped with gold ornaments worth about Rs. 5 lakh.

The burglary took place at the house of one Nishit Bhat, a resident of Vijayanagar 4th Stage. He along with his family had gone out of station on May 12 when the burglary took place and the incident came to light when the family returned to city.

A case has been registered at Vijayanagar Police Station in this regard.
