House burgled: Rs. 2.5 lakh gold ornaments stolen

Mysuru: Miscreants, who entered a house by breaking the door, have made good with gold ornaments worth about Rs. 2.5 lakh in Hootagalli.

Shivanna, the owner of the house on Marigudi Street in Hootagalli had locked the house on June 27 morning and had gone out for some work.

When he returned the next day morning, he found the front door of the house broken and when he entered the house and examined, he found 98 grams gold ornaments, Rs. 30,000 cash and two pass books of SBI Bank missing.

He immediately lodged a complaint at Vijayanagar Police Station.

Vijayanagar Police, who have registered a case in this regard are investigating.
