House burgled, valuables stolen

Mysore/Mysuru: Thieves have made away with gold and silver valuables worth Rs. 1 lakh, from a house at Dattagalli in the city recently.

Adarsh, along with his family members, had gone to his native village near Somwarpet in Kodagu district, for Deepavali festival on Oct. 20.

The family returned on Oct. 22, only to find the main door of the house broke open.

Upon inspecting the house, it was found that, silver weighing 350 grams, gold earring of four grams, all worth about  Rs. 1 lakh, had been stolen.

Police have registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
