House burgled: Valuables worth about Rs. 2 lakh stolen

Mysuru: Burglars have decamped with valuables worth about Rs. 2 lakh from a locked house in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage here. The burglary took place in a house belonging to one Ashwini on Tuesday.

Ashwini had locked the house on Tuesday morning and had gone out on some work, when she returned at about 7 pm, she found the front door forcibly opened and on inspecting the house, she found gold jewellery weighing about 110 grams, silver articles and a laptop kept in the almirah worth about Rs. 2 lakh missing.

A complaint has been lodged at Vijayanagar Police Station in this regard.
