Housing and Infrastructure Development Minister V. Somanna will tour the district on Oct. 5. Somanna, who will arrive in city on the morning of Oct. 5, will visit Chamundi Hill at 9.30 am, following which he will take part in the ‘Pratibha Puraskar’ programme to take place at Nataraja Women’s PU College at 10 am.

Later, he will perform Bhoomi Puja (Ground-breaking Ceremony) for the construction of  Ashraya Houses near Gorur on Dadadahalli Road. Thereafter, he will take part in the Title Deed distribution programme for beneficiaries under PMAY Housing  for all Scheme at the park near Ramalingeshwara Temple in Vidyaranyapuram, following which he will pay a courtesy visit to the residence of BJP leader M.V. Ravishankar at Preeti Layout in Srirrampura at 12 noon. Thereafter, he will visit the residence of another leader S.M. Shivaprakash in J.P. Nagar at 12.30 pm, following which he will visit the residence of local BJP leader Ramesh located in Vijayanagar 3rd Stage at 1 pm, before departing for Bengaluru by Road.
