The residents of Kuvempunagar K – Block wish to highlight the growing public nuisance caused by a Bar and Restaurant located behind Agarwal’s Eye Hospital. Every evening, customers park their vehicles haphazardly along 1st Cross, blocking residential access and creating severe traffic congestion.

The footpath is encroached upon towards 1st Cross Road by installing an eatery partition by the restaurant, forcing pedestrians, including senior citizens and children, to walk on the road. Late-night gatherings outside the restaurant and roadside eatery at the signal also lead to unnecessary traffic congestion, noise, public park littering and disturbance, affecting the peaceful residential atmosphere.

We request the Mysuru City Corporation and Traffic Police to take immediate action by enforcing proper parking regulations, clearing footpath encroachments and ensuring that public spaces are not misused.

The residents hope they will address this issue promptly and restore safety, accessibility and peace in our locality.
