Nanjangud: A 35-year-old Computer Operator at Hullahalli Nadakacheri has ended his life by consuming poison after leaving behind a death note yesterday.

The deceased is Paramesh, a resident of Haratale village in the taluk, who was working at Hullahalli Nadakacheri as a Computer Operator since several years.

He (Paramesh) had consumed poison at about 4 pm yesterday near the Nadakacheri and was writhing in pain, following which he was rushed to a hospital in the village where he was provided first-aid and was shifted to K.R. Hospital in Mysuru where he breathed his last.

In his death note, Paramesh has written: “I have not been paid my salary since last April which has made it difficult to lead my life. Also, Hullahalli Nadakacheri Deputy Tahsildar N.P. Shivakumar, despite knowing that I am disabled, was harassing me mentally. The Deputy Tahsildar is directly responsible for my death.”

Paramesh had uploaded the death note as his WhatsApp status, which has gone viral on social media. Hullahalli Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
