Mysuru: Humane Touch, an organisation of Jain Youths, completed 300 weeks of social service to the needy and poor people of the city recently. The NGO is serving all sections of the society by providing breakfast and  other basic requirement non-stop without missing a single Sunday.

This followed a week-long 300th week celebration from July 9 to 15. On July 9, they did Kabutar Daan by feeding the pigeons and other birds with food.  

On day two, they provided food to around 400 people in association with Roti Bank near Sangam Talkies.

On day three, nearly 500 patients and their relatives in K.R. Hospital were provided breakfast. Day four marked the planting of 40 mango saplings in Pinjarapole.

On day five, RO drinking water equipment was installed at Jayadeva Institute building in K.R. Hospital premises.

On day six, cycle rally was taken out from Mysore Palace with the team of Young Indians and others to conserve and safeguard nature, save water, petrol as the theme.

On the final day on July 15, the team visited the Government School near Nanjangud and distributed books, stationery and snacks to the students, according to a press release from Vikram Salecha of Humane Touch.
