Hunsur MLA inspects works on Devaraja Urs Bhavan

The Devaraja Urs Bhavan at Hunsur is being constructed at a cost of Rs. 7.90 crore using latest technology,   said MLA H.P. Manjunath.

Speaking to media persons after inspecting the building construction, he said that CM Siddharamaiah had released Rs.10 crore for development of Kallahalli village and Rs. 7.90 crore for the construction of  D.D. Urs Bhavan.

The MLA was accompanied by Vaastu expert Kishore Chandra, Project Director M.T. Manjunath and Assistant Engineer Rakshit.

Stating that around 20 percent works had been completed, the MLA Manjunath said that the building would  be completed by end of this year and would be inaugurated during Jan. 2018.

The building has a seating capacity of 1,000 persons with corridors of 13ft each on either side, the building maintenance office, MLA’s office and an auditorium.
