Mysuru: An accidental fire has destroyed a hut and its belongings inside at Bharat Nagar here on Mar.16.

Auto driver Syed Rafiq Ahmed, who had constructed a hut near the Slum Board Complex at Bharat Nagar here, was staying with his wife and children. On Mar.16, after he left for work, his wife Mubeena Taj left to sell incense sticks and the children went to school during which the hut caught fire. This resulted in Rs. 3,000 cash, TV, vessels, clothes and other items worth about Rs. 23,000 being destroyed in the fire.

Mysuru Rural Police have registered a case in this regard.
