I-Day contests for students

To celebrate 75 years of Indian Independence Day, Navodaya Foundation, Mysuru, has organised District-level competitions for High School and College students on July 10 at Sree Cauvery College premises in Kuvempunagar as follows: High School: Essay writing on the topic ‘Freedom fighters whose memories are faded away.’ Drawing on the topic ‘Amrit Mahotsav of Independence’

College: Essay writing on the topic ‘India’s achievement after the Independence.’ Drawing on the topic ‘Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.’

Rangoli and patriotic singing competitions will be held for both High School and College students. Winners will receive cash prizes of Rs. 5,000 (first), Rs. 3,000 (second) and Rs. 2,000 (third).
