When IAS & IPS officers tackle Panja Kusti

Mysuru: Dasara Kusti Sub-Committee had organised the 3rd State-level ‘Panja Kusti’ (Arm Wrestling) at Devaraj Urs Multipurpose Stadium here this morning.

A total of 50 men and 25 women participated in the event in various categories based on body weight.

The winner in the men’s category will be conferred ‘Mysuru Dasara Sri’ title while the winner in women’s category will be presented Chamundeshwari award. Certificates and medals would be presented to all participants.

Woman Power: Two women Arm Wrestlers indulged in intense battle at the Arm Wrestling contest.

The event was inaugurated by wrestler Rita Priyanka by watering a plant.

In a mock event, Mayor M.J. Ravikumar and KEA Chairman Siddaraju; IGP (Southern Range) Vipul Kumar and DC D. Randeep, MCC Commissioner G. Jagadeesha and SP Ravi D. Channannavar arm-wrestled in the said pairs.
