Skipper Mithali Raj slammed a century before left-arm spinner Rajeshwari Gayakwad returned with a five-wicket haul as India crushed New Zealand by 186 runs to storm into the semifinals of the ICC Women’s World Cup yesterday.

The Indian women’s cricket team, led by Mithali Raj, needed to win against New Zealand for the last semi-final spot and they did after bowling out New Zealand for 79 in 25.3 overs.
