Mysuru: Dr. Ajish K. Abraham, Professor, Department of Electronics, All India Institute of Speech & Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru, has been awarded with the ICMR-DHR Short Term International Fellowship for Senior Biomedical Scientists. This Fellowship is instituted jointly by Indian Council of Medical Research and Department of Health Research (ICMR-DHR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
This programme is intended to create a pool of talented health research personnel by facilitating advanced training and exposure to the latest advancements in knowledge through interaction with the international scientists in emerging areas of health sciences.
Dr. Ajish Abraham would avail this Fellowship for conducting research in the area of Speech Processing at Qualcomm Institute of California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology, University of California, San Diego. The Fellowship is for a period of 3 months starting from Nov.18.
Dr. Ajish Abraham is the first faculty from AIISH to obtain this prestigious Fellowship.
