IGP visits ANF camp

Gundlupet: Anti Naxal Force (ANF) IGP Arun Chakravarthy on Tuesday visited the ANF camp coming up near Baragi village in the taluk.

The IGP inspected the ongoing civil works at the camp located in the outskirts of the village. The camp is based at Baragi to keep a watch on naxal movements along Tamil Nadu and Kerala border.

Chamarajanagar SP Dharmendra Kumar Meena, ANF Dy.SP Dinesh Kumar, Gundlupet CPI K.V. Krishnappa and other Police personnel accompanied the IGP.

The  IGP, after receiving inputs on Combing Operations in the area, left for Beechanahalli camp in H.D. Kote taluk.
