IGU All India Ladies Amateur Golf Championship: City’s Pranavi, Disha go down in pre-quarter-finals

Mysuru’s Pranavi S. Urs and Disha Kavery (both from JWGC, Mysuru) taking part in the recently held IGU All India Ladies Amateur Golf Championship 2017 at Eagleton Golf Resort in Bidadi lost in the pre-quarterfinals in the Match Play event.

Anika Varma beat Pranavi S. Urs 3-1 and entered the last eight stage of the tournament. In the earlier round, Pranavi got the better of Hitashee Bakshi 5-3 to progress further. Disha Kavery of Mysuru lost to Rhea Purvi Saravanan 1-3 in the pre-quarterfinals.
