IGU Rotary Amateur State Golf Championships: Mysuru’s Yashas and Pranavi Urs bag top honours

Mysuru lad Yashas Chandra came up with a sterling performance by carding a 13-under 275 (68+69+69+69) to clinch the coveted men’s title, while Mysuru girl Pranavi S. Urs bagged a triple crown by winning the Ladies, Category ‘A’, Category A & B combined titles with a three-day aggregate score of 216 (75+73+68) in the IGU Rotary Men’s, Ladies and Junior Girls Amateur Karnataka State Golf Championships-2018 played at the Eagleton Golf Course, Bidadi, near Bengaluru from Apr.9 to 13.

In the men’s section, Mysuru lad I.L. Aalaap and Prafulchand finished tied 12th with a four-day aggregate score of 289.

In the girls category ‘B’ section, Mysuru’s Disha Kavery finished tied 12th with a three-day card of 248 (83+80+82).

In the Category ‘C’ girls section, Mysuru girl Vidhatri K. Urs finished tied third with a three-day aggregate score of 233 (76+77+80).

Men: 1. Yashas Chandra (Kar-68+69+69+69=275), 2. G.N. Basavaraju (Kar-73+72+68+69=282), 3. Pranav Mardikar (Mah-74+71+69+70=284).

Category ‘B’: 1. Pranavi S. Urs (Kar-75+73+68=216), 2. Anika Varma (UP-74+75+72=221), 3. Khushi Hooda (73+76+75=224).

Category ‘C’: M. Rishika (Kar-76+78+72=216), 2. Nisha Patel (77+77+78=232), 3. S. Rashmi (78+79+76=233), Vidhatri K. Urs (76+77+80=233).

Category A & B: 1. Pranavi S. Urs (75+73+68=216), 2. Rhea Purvi Saravanan (TN=68+74+75=217), 3. Tanrika Singh (Delhi).
