Mysuru lad, IM Girish A. Koushik (2412), taking part in IIFL Wealth 3rd Mumbai International Chess Tournament at Bandra (E), Mumbai, from Dec.30, 2017 to Jan.7, 2018 drew his sixth round tie with India’s Pratik Patil yesterday.

After six rounds, Girish A. Koushik has secured 4 points and is placed 65th in the rankings. In the seventh round, he meets H. Balasubramaniam (2147).

After six rounds, GM Deepan Chakravarthy leads with six points and is followed by GM M. Parsham (IRI), GM Rozum Ivan (RUS), FM Erigaisi Arjun (Ind) and GM David Alberto (ITA) with 5 points each.
