My husband is an allottee of Site No. 7 in Lalithadrinagar (North) Layout, allotted by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), now, Mysuru Development Authority (MDA).

I am reaching out to seek your help in highlighting a serious issue that has affected many allottees like us. There has been rampant illegal dumping of garbage in the open space directly opposite our site.  Despite raising complaints since 2022 — including to former MUDA Commissioners G.T. Dinesh Kumar and Dr. D.B. Natesh — no action has been taken.

When we visited the site in June 2025, we even saw a garbage truck dumping waste. As soon as we tried to film, they sped away, giving false excuses.

This has become a serious health and environmental hazard and is a shocking situation in a MUDA-developed layout. We have also requested MUDA to inspect the area, clear the waste and take preventive steps like fencing and signage — but nothing has moved.

Adding to this, the layout still lacks basic amenities like water and electricity, even six years after allotment. This has kept the area deserted and worsened the problem.

We once again urge the authorities concerned to look into this issue and resolve the problem at the earliest.
