Illegal gas refilling: One held

Mysore/Mysuru: The officials of the Food and Civil Supplies Department along with Udayagiri Police, who raided an illegal gas refilling unit at Ghousianagar, have arrested one person besides seizing LPG cylinders and refilling equipment from the unit.

The arrested has been identified as 39-year-old Syed Khaleem. The Police and the Food Department officials have seized LPG cylinders, one electronic weighing machine, one ½ HP motor and two refilling rods from the illegal unit. The accused was produced before a Court, which remanded him to judicial custody.

Food Inspector B.C. Mohan and staff and Udayagiri Police personnel took part in the nabbing and seizing operation.
