Illegal LPG refilling unit raided, one arrested

Mysore/Mysuru: Udayagiri Police have arrested one person, who was involved in illegal LPG refilling and have seized three LPG cylinders and equipment used for refilling.

The Food and Civil Supplies Department officials, following a tip off that illegal LPG refilling was taking place at a house in Nehru Nagar, raided the house with the help of Udayagiri Police and noticed an autorickshaw was being refilled with LPG following which Udayagiri Police arrested one Rafiq Khan.

The Cops have also seized three domestic LPG cylinders, one electronic weighing machine and other equipment from the house. Based on the complaint from the Food Inspector, Udayagiri Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.

Udayagiri Assistant Sub-Inspector Shashishekar and staff took part in the nabbing and seizing operation.
