Illegal sale of liquor: One arrested, 86 liquor packs of various companies, Rs. 220 seized

Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police on May 27, have arrested a person on charges of selling liquor illegally and seized Rs. 220 cash and liquor packs of various companies and quantity. Acting on a tip off, that a man was selling liquor packs on footpath opposite Cake Bazaar on Bannur Road, the CCB Police raided the place and arrested the person and seized the liquor packs.

The arrested person has been identified as 36-year-old Girish, a native of Kaggalipura in Bannur taluk and residing on Rajkumar Road in Yeraganahalli here.

A case has been registered at the Special Police Station in CCB unit.

CCB ACP C. Gopal supervised CCB Inspector J.C. Raju, ASI R. Raju and staff Joseph Noronha, P.N. Lakshmikanth, Kariyappa Gowda and Rajesh in the raid, arrest and seizing operation.
