Illegal transportation: 33 cows rescued

Mysore/Mysuru: Metagalli Police have rescued 33 cows which were being transported illegally in a truck.

Following a tip off, Metagalli Police, who intercepted the truck (KA-06-AA-7227) near Royal Inn Junction on KRS Road, inspected the truck and found 33 cows inside which were being                                           transported illegally.

When the Cops were inspecting the truck, the driver and another person fled from the spot leaving the truck behind. The Police have shifted the rescued cows to Pinjrapole at the foot of Chamundi Hill besides registering a case.
