Mysuru:  The inauguration of newly-constructed P.S. Bhatta Bayalu  Ranga Mandira, Ahara Mela and cultural programmes organised by Uttara Kannada District Samskrutika Sangha will held on Dec. 15 at the Sangha premises in Kuvempunagar.

Speaking to media persons here yesterday, Secretary of the Sangha Tejaswi Nayak said former President of the Sangha and retired Professor Krishna Manja Bhatta will inaugurate the events 5 pm.  MLA S.A. Ramdas and Corporator M.C.Ramesh will be the chief guests. Former Presidents D.G. Sonde, Dr. S.N. Heggade and Krishna Manja Bhatta will be felicitated on the occasion.

The Bayalu Ranga Mandira has a seating capacity of 1,000 and will be given on rent for the public to hold cultural events.  

The food festival will be held from 12 noon till 9.30 pm. Uttara Kannada, coastal and Malnad style meals, snacks, food items like neer  dosa, tellevu, kottekadabu, kesaribath, todedevu, atirasa, ottu shyavige and other delicacies will be available.

Apart from this, there will be display and sale of desi natural products. Dr Shilpa Heggade and her team will perform various cultural events.
