Mysore/Mysuru: The exclusive book library for patients and their family members at JSS Hospital will be inaugurated at the Hospital Lobby tomorrow (Apr. 16) at 10 am, under the joint aegis of Department of Psychiatry, JSS Medical College (JSS MC) and Hospital, Department of Clinical Pharmacy, JSS College of Pharmacy and JSS DIAL (Doctors Interested in Alternative Learning) Book Club, JSS Hospital.

Padma Shri awardee Dr. C.R. Chandrashekhar, well-known Kannada writer on Health & Wellness and former Professor of Psychiatry at National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) will be the chief guest.

Dr. H. Basavanagowdappa, Principal, JSS MC and Dr. C.P. Madhu, Medical Superintendent, JSS Hospital, Mysuru,  will be the guests of honour.

Followed by inauguration, Dr. C.R. Chandrashekhar will deliver a talk at Sri Rajendra Centenary Auditorium, 3rd Floor, JSS Hospital, on World Health Day Theme ‘My Health, My Right’ from 10.15 am onwards. The event is open for public.

The exclusive book library is a small step to engage patients and families visiting the hospital. The library is fully funded by Minds United Trust, Mysuru and Infosys Foundation, Bengaluru.
