‘Include left out Integrated Development works in forthcoming MUDA budget’

Mysore/Mysuru: Chamundeshwari  MLA G.T. Devegowda (GTD) directed officials to include all works that have been left out of Integrated Development Plan, in the forthcoming MUDA budget.

Addressing MUDA’s Pre-budget Meeting here on Friday, GTD said that several works have been left out with the  purpose of developing all MUDA formed layouts at a time. As such, all MUDA Zonal Officers should undertake an inspection of all layouts coming under their purview and enlist all the works that have been left out from Integrated Development Plan.

Asking the officials to expedite underground drainage and road development works in villages coming under MUDA, the MLA said that the authorities must take measures to hand over the layouts formed with MUDA approval to the concerned local bodies. He also stressed on the need for giving prominence for issues concerning Rajakaluves, Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), underground drainages and such other civic amenities in the budget. Devegowda asked KUWS&DB officials to clear dues to the MCC in connection with providing Kabini drinking water to 42 villages coming under his constituency.

The MLA told the MUDA Commissioner to take measures for allotting the identified land for a burial ground coming under Survey No. 305 of Hinkal village.

MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev, MCDCC Bank President G.D. Harishgowda, MUDA Commissioner Dr. D.B. Natesh, MCC Commissioner G. Lakshmikantha Reddy, ZP CEO B.R. Poornima, KUWS&DB Chief Engineer Siddanayaka, CNNL Chief Engineer Shankaregowda, MUDA SE Shankar, MCC SE Mahesh and other officials were present during the meeting.
