Sir,
Mysuru is well-connected by several long distance trains to the rest of the country via Bengaluru. Many new superfast trains are introduced for the benefit of long distance travellers as well as to help the commuters to reach Bengaluru in a seamless manner by more trains.
Humsafar Express to Udaipur via Bengaluru-Hubballi was introduced a year ago and has widely benefited many passengers travelling to Hubballi and beyond.
Further, it is welcome to know that the train is now earmarked with one coach for the benefit of AC Chair Car fare travel between Mysuru and Bengaluru.
There is now an urgent need to increase the frequency of 19667/19668 Mysuru-Udaipur Palace Queen Express from the existing Weekly to a Bi-weekly train. The current route and its schedule is excellent and highly comfortable to travel to long distance destinations like Pune, Baroda, Udaipur; apart from providing an additional non-stop direct connectivity to Bengaluru.
Hence, the South Western Railway authorities at Mysuru Division are kindly requested to increase the frequency of train number 19667/19668 Mysuru-Udaipur Palace Queen Express from the existing Weekly (Thursdays) to a Bi-weekly (Tuesday, Thursday) affair. This will highly benefit the Railways to otherwise garner patronage as necessary for this train.
