India F8 Futures Men’s Tennis Championship: Vasisht, Sasi Kumar Mukund go down in quarters

Chennai: Mysuru lad Vasisht Cheruku taking part in India F8 Futures Men’s Justice P.S. Kailasam MGL International $15,000 Tennis Tournament teaming up with Sasi kumar Mukund went down to Lucas Gomez (MEX) & Kelsey Stevenson (CAN) 2-6, 4-6 in the quarter-finals of the men’s doubles event yesterday.

Earlier in the pre-quarter-finals, Vasisht and Sasi kumar Mukund beat Cameron Silverman and Colin Van Beem 6-3, 3-6, 10-6. In the men’s singles event, Clement Larriere beat Vasist Chereku 6-0, 6-4 in the first round, while Seong Gook Oh beat another Prajwal Dev 2-6, 6-4, 6-1. In the men’s qualifying round matches, Prajwal in the first round had beat Ravishankar Sathyaraj 6-7 (3), 6-1, 6-3.
