Indian Defence Force unique in the world: Sulibele

July 27, 2018

Mysuru:  “Indian Defence Force is unique in the world as no other force has such capacity as an Indian soldier. Indian soldiers are trained to face hostile conditions on land, sea and air and he can deliver a death blow to any opponent.”

These were the words of Chakravarthy Sulibele who was delivering a key-note address at ‘Kargil Vijay Divas’ organised by Mysuru unit of Yuva Brigade at Jayamma Govindegowda Kalyana Mantap in city last evening.

“Indian soldiers can fight the enemy in snow-clad Himalayas and Kashmir, hot and desolate deserts of Rajasthan and the turbulent seas at coastal areas and also underwater. Such capabilities are rare to find in any defence force across the world,” he said.

Heaping praises on the Armed Forces, the youth leader said that while the soldiers are sacrificing their lives at the borders, some vested interests and so called liberals preach peace only to a particular section of the society while the real violence mongers are shielded at any cost.

“These liberals oppose whenever a terrorist is hanged or sent to jail as they call it as a violation of human rights. Sadly, they forget that it is the Court that has declared a person a terrorist, guilty of massacring innocent Indians,” he regretted.  “These liberal forces do not raise their voice when a soldier is killed but are very sharp in their criticism when a terrorist or an anti-national is killed by a soldier. These pseudo-nationalists are a real threat for the country,” Sulibele opined.

Lashing out at Congress President Rahul Gandhi for belittling the sacrifice of soldiers to serve the interests of his family and his party, Sulibele said that when an Indian soldier enters an enemy territory, he tries to eliminate as many enemies as possible, thereby risking his own life. “It is not as simple as Rahul Gandhi winking inside Parliament,” he said.

“When Congress was ruling India under Manmohan Singh’s Prime Ministership, Indian soldiers had no free hand and their each move depended on political considerations. But the Defence Forces got a free hand after Narendra Modi took over the country’s administration and so far, over 800 terrorists have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

On the occasion, 24 families of martyred soldiers including Hemachand, Prakash, Rangaiah, Mahesh, Avinash, Uday, Shekar, Yoganand, Phaniraj, Nagesh, Sandeep Kumar, Sundar Raj, Sharath, Shivanand, Puttaswamy and Ashok were felicitated.
